The High Court has ordered that the Dail sub-committee investigating cost over-runs on a rail-signalling project can resume its hearings today.

The High Court has ordered that the Dail sub-committee investigating cost over-runs on a rail-signalling project can resume its hearings today.

There had been fears the Inquiry could be brought to a halt amid strong objections from the widow of former CIE chief executive, Michael McDonnell.

Mrs McDonnell may yet take her fight to the Supreme Court however.
