Two due in court over Dublin heroin seizure

A man and a woman are due to appear before Dublin District Court this morning in connection with this week’s £4.5m drug seizure in Dublin.

Gardai arrested a total of five people after seizing 15.5kgs of heroin and 100,000 ecstasy tablets in Lucan and Kilmainham on Tuesday morning.

Detectives are preparing files for the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the three other detainees.
