Taoiseach supports US actions

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, says that the US should be supported for the way in which it is going about attacking the terrorists responsible for the attack on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon.

Speaking after this morning’s special service in the Pro-Cathedral in memory of the victims of the attacks, Mr Ahern said that by keeping within international law and forming an international alliance is the right way to act in the quest to put and end to terrorism.
