Smith rejects reports of unhygenic army facilities

Defence Minister Michael Smith has denied suggestions that Irish soldiers are training in unhygenic facilities in Cork and the Glen of Imaal.

One officer on a training exercise was diagnosed with a case of scabies and several others were checked out.
