The RUC is investigating reports that two teenagers were abducted by a gang of 15 men in north Belfast last night.

The pair, aged 18 and 19, were dragged from a car in the forecourt of a filling station in Clifton Street at around 10.30pm.

Their abductors took them along Trinity Street towards the Unity Flats area in a convoy of three cars.

The RUC has said it does not believe the incident was sectarian.
