Two drugs seizures in Dublin and Donegal

There have been two major drugs busts in counties Dublin and Donegal overnight.

Detectives from the Garda National Drugs Unit recovered 50kg of cannabis resin in a house on Sarsfield Rd in Ballyfermot at around 7pm.

The haul had an estimated street value of half a million pounds. £10,000 in cash was also recovered.

Two men are being questioned in connection with the seizure at Kilmainham Garda Station.

Meanwhile in Letterkenny, cannabis worth £90,000 and £5,000 worth of ecstasy tablets were recovered in a raid on a house in the town.
