Premier and Taoiseach start talks

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and the Chinese Premier Zhu Rhongji have

commenced talks in Dublin.

The two men have been meeting at Farmleigh in the Phoenix Park.

Both Governments are expected to spend much of the day discussing trade.

Mr Ahern is also expected to raise the issue of human rights in China.
