A woman has been injured in a shooting in Dublin city centre.

A woman has been injured in a shooting in Dublin city centre.

A lone gunman fired several shots into a pub at Benburb Street shortly before 11pm.

The woman, thought to be a foreign national, was shot in the leg.

It is not believed she was a target for the gunman, who escaped on a scooter.

She is being treated at Mater hospital - her injuries are not life-threatening.
