Nine injured in Kilkenny train crash

Nine people were hospitalised today after a minor train crash at Kilkenny railway station.

The passengers were slightly hurt when the engine collided with the carriages as it was being attached to the train.

The accident happened on the 11.30am train from Dublin to Waterford.
