Man due in court over Limerick assault

A man is due to appear before Limerick District Court today in connection with an assault on Tuesday that left an 18-year-old youth on a life-support machine.

The man was arrested after giving himself up to Gardai yesterday. The victim of the assault, Jonathon Edwards, remains in a critical condition.
