Man dies after Limerick fight

Gardai in Limerick are investigating the death of a man following a fight in the Kileely area this morning.

Gardai found the man unconscious after being called to the scene of a row involving up to 12 people at Cregan Avenue.

He was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead at around 3am.

A post mortem will be carried out later today and the scene of the death has been preserved for technical examination.
