Sinn Fein today insisted that the British Government’s implementation plan for policing was "not the last word" and claimed negotiations on the issue would continue.

Fermanagh and South Tyrone MP Michelle Gildernew claimed that the fact that some Northern Ireland parties had broken a British Government deadline for a response to proposals for the second time within a month proved that negotiations would continue.
