North's students set new level for top GCSE grades

GCSE students in Northern Ireland were celebrating today after the number pupils achieving the highest grades rose again.

The marks achieved by almost 30,000 pupils in the North also showed girls outperforming boys yet again - confirming the trend set by last week’s A-Levels.
