People in a house at Mounthill Drive in Cloughmills, Co Antrim, escaped injury when shots were fired through a bedroom window last night.

Later, pipe bombs exploded outside two homes in Ballymena, Co Antrim.

The attacks at Inchcolm Avenue on the Ballykeel estate damaged the front door of one property and a window of the other. There were no injuries reported.

Police investigations into the incidents are continuing.
