The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has cut short his holidays in Kerry to deal with the current crisis facing the Northern peace process.

Mr Ahern will meet with SDLP leader John Hume at government buildings tomorrow to discuss the latest series of setbacks to the implementation of the Good Friday Agreement.
