A leading anti-agreement unionist has claimed that the three suspected Provisional IRA men arrested in Colombia at the weekend were being trained in the use of a deadly new explosive.

The DUP’s Peter Robinson claimed today that James Monaghan, Martin McCauley and Niall Connolly were in Colombia to finalise the purchase of this new bomb-making material.
