Taoiseach urged to intervene in roads dispute
The ICMSA has called on the Taoiseach to intervene in the dispute between Irish farmers and the National Roads Authority over the compensation offered for land seized by the Government.
The Government will have to seize thousands of acres of farmland as part of its plan to build motorways between all the major Irish cities. Farmers are currently refusing to let NRA officials survey their land because they claim the compensation offered to them is too low.
