Gardai and RUC make joint appeal for Omagh information
Gardai and RUC officers investigating the Omagh atrocity have again appealed for information to help them catch the bombers.
Speaking at a joint press conference today to mark the third anniversary of the bombing, Garda Superintendent Tadhg Foley said they hoped to jog people's memories about what happened in the events leading up to the explosion.
RUC Superintendent Jim Baxter said detectives are tracking the perpetrators, but still need more information.
"There is a gap between what we know and what information and evidence to require to place individuals in court. The general public can close that gap, and it's absolutely essential that they do that," he said.
