Arrest main in connection with fatal stabbing

A 28-year-old man was arrested in the Moyross area of Limerick this afternoon in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 24-year-old man in the early hours of this morning.

He is being detained at the Henry Street Garda Station under section 4 of the non-fatal offences of the person act and he can be held for a maximum of 12 hours.
