Little optimism as Governments buy time in peace process
Northern Ireland ministers return to work today after a dramatic 48 hours which saw the province’s Assembly suspended and reinstated.
Northern Secretary of State, Dr John Reid, has urged the political parties to use the six weeks breathing space purposefully to achieve agreement on the unresolved issues of decommissioning, policing and demilitarisation.
