Dublin-London is busiest EU air route

New figures from Brussels show that the Dublin-London air route is the busiest between cities in the European Union.

In 1999, 4.3m passengers travelled on the route, 1.5m more than the next busiest route, London-Paris.

The figures from the European Commission also show that Ireland-UK is the third most popular route.
