Motorcyclist dies in Tipperary crash

A motorcyclist in his early 20s has died in a road accident near Dundrum in Co Tipperary.

The accident happened at Knockavilla around 11.30pm.

He is the second person to die on Ireland's roads so far this Bank Holiday weekend.

Yesterday evening, another motorcyclist in his early 30s died in a collision with a van on the main Dublin to Waterford road near Kilmacow in Co Kilkenny.
