Two rescued from Kerry mountain

The Kerry mountain rescue has brought to safety two climbers who got into difficulty on Carrantuohill last night.

The pair , who were about 1,000 feet up the mountain, were stranded on a cliff face.

A 15-member team carried out the rescue operation in dangerous conditions.

The two climbers had alerted the emergency services by mobile phone.
