Lawlor judge 'did not properly adjudicate on certain matters'

Lawyers for Liam Lawlor have told the Supreme Court that the wrong decision was made when the independent TD was sentenced to seven days in prison last Tuesday.

John Traynor SC said High Court Judge Thomas Smyth did not properly adjudicate on certain issues.

He said certain documents were subject to privilege and it appears this was not taken into consideration.
