The local group who own a GAA club in Co Derry are condemning this morning's discovery of a pipe bomb at the ground.

A unit of the British Army bomb disposal squad was called in to defuse the device at the O'Donovan Rossa club in Magherafelt.

A spokesman for the group said a child could easily have triggered the bomb as up to 60 youngsters regularly attend training sessions at the ground on Sundays.
