A teenager is due in court in County Cavan later this morning to face charges in connection with the death of a 70-year-old man a week ago.

A teenager is due in court in County Cavan later today to face charges in connection with the death of a 70-year-old man a week ago.

Paddy Jackson lost his life following an incident in a car park last Saturday evening.

The youth is due before Virginia District Court, accused of violent disorder causing harm.

Five other teenagers questioned about the death have been released and files have been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
