Revenue now investigating 500 Ansbacher accounts

The Revenue Commissioners are now investigating 500 Irish people with offshore accounts in the Ansbacher Bank.

This is four times as many people as the Revenue initially thought held these accounts.

To date, just 37 offshore account holders have been caught, netting £8m in tax arrears for the Government.
