Cig firm says sorry for 'smokers dying younger beneficial to economy' study
Tobacco manufacturing giant, Phillip Morris, has apologised for saying that one of the "positive effects" of smoking is an early.
The company had funded a study, which was commissioned by the Czech Government, that suggested that the Government would save them a fortune in pension payments, housing and care for the elderly.
The tobacco giants have admitted that the study's results were totally inappropriate and were wrong.
