Ireland urges third world nations not to use nuclear energy

Ireland is urging developing countries not to use nuclear power in order to fuel their economies.

The Minister responsible for Nuclear Safety, Joe Jacob, is looking to press third world nations to seek alternative forms of sustainable energy sources.

Minister Jacob says that he is relieved that the new Kyoto climate deal will make it difficult for such countries to use nuclear power.
