Legal counsel for Liam Lawlor has told the High Court that the Dublin West TD has given all available documents to the Flood Tribunal.

John Traynor SC asked the court to adjourn proceedings until October as Deputy Lawlor's jail sentence is currently suspended until November.

He said his client had presented 68 sworn statements since January last, along with 25,000 documents and has written to 272 parties.

He said that Mr Lawlor had devoted considerable energy to the matter and that outstanding documents are no longer available.

The hearing of evidence continues tomorrow.
