Belfast man charged with teen murder

A West Belfast man has been charged with murder.

A West Belfast man has been charged with murder.

The 22-year-old is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court in Co Antrim today.

It's understood the charge relates to the death of teenager Damien Duffy.

The 18-year-old received head injuries and a stab wound during an incident in May.

<p> Volunteers attending the DMax 7.7 fitness event, in honour of Darragh McCarthy, who tragically passed away last year at just 21 years of age. The sold-out fitness event saw over 300 competitors take on DMax 7.7 featuring seven fitness stations, lasting seven minutes per station with a two minute transition between station. Competitors entered in teams of two and tested their strength, endurance and mental resilience across a series of challenges including rope skipping, ski-erg, medicine ball, assault bike, rowing, burpee box jumps and wall balls.
