Body found on Co Kildare road

Gardai in Co Kildare are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in his 30s whose body was found lying by the roadside near Naas early this morning.

The body was found at Kilteel at around 3am after a local publican alerted gardai.

Detectives are trying to establish the man's identity.

A post mortem will be carried out at Naas General Hospital later today.
