Two killed in overnight road accidents

Two people have died in overnight road accidents in Co Kilkenny and Co Westmeath.

A young motorcyclist was killed when he collided with a car on the Ballyragget Road outside Kilkenny city last night, while a pensioner died after being struck by a car while out walking on the Mullingar to Ballymahon Road at Rathconrath.
