Govt moves to tackle pirates

The Government has revealed new legislation to deal with acts of piracy committed in Irish waters.

The 'Law of the Sea' Bill gives effect to a United Nations convention allowing for unlimited fines and up to 20 years in jail for those who break the piracy laws.
