Two held after Limerick shooting

Two men have been arrested following a shooting incident in Limerick city

overnight.

Both were arrested when gardai investigating the shooting intercepted

a car acting suspiciously and recovered a shotgun.

Earlier, two shots were fired at two unoccupied houses in the O'Malley Park area of the city, damaging front windows.

The two men are being held at Roxboro Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
