Orangemen in Derry and south Belfast are demonstrating against the re-routing of their parades.

Lodges in the Derry area have marched along RUC lines on the outskirts of the city after they were prevented from entering the city centre.

A group from the main parade marched up to the police blockade and handed in a letter of protest, they say that they will wait there for as long as possible.

Another standoff has developed in south Belfast, where Orangemen are angry by the re-routing of their march to a field outside the city.

The marchers are being prevented from walking along the nationalist Lower Ormeau Road.
