North peace talks to continue amid gloom
The future of the North's Assembly and its institutions is dependent on the outcome of discussions due to continue in the English Midlands today.
The talks will resume at around 9am.
The Progressive Unionist Party had yesterday left Weston Park displaying considerable displeasure at what had taken place.
When Gerry Adams emerged at the end of the day, which involved both round-table and separate party talks with the Government, he was crestfallen.
"This Government needs to get back to the Good Friday Agreement which deals with all of the issues," he said.
"I remain confident that all the issues can be dealt with, but only in the context of the template that the Agreement prescribes and to which we all agreed."
