Court decision on action against tribunal deferred

A bid by auctioneer John Finnegan for a review of his participation in the Flood Tribunal has been put back until next Monday.

The High Court has been told that affidavits on the matter are still outstanding.

Mr Finnegan has been implicated in the payment of £60,000 to Ray Burke in the 1980s.

It was made by Canio Ltd, a company controlled by builders Tom Brennan and Mr Finnegan.
