Funeral takes place of murdered Catholic teen
The funeral will takes place this morning of the 19-year old Catholic youth shot
dead by loyalists on Wednesday.
Ciaran Cummings was shot at point-blank range by a loyalist gunman in a sectarian attack that many believe was linked to increasing tension over this weekend's Drumcree Orange parade.
Mr Cummings was on his way to work early on Wednesday when two gunmen approached on a motorcycle and shot him at least twice in the head and neck.
The murder was condemned by the SDLP, Sinn Fein and both Protestant and Catholic churchmen.
The so-called Red Hand Defenders claimed responsibility for the killing, saying it was in retaliation for the election of two Sinn Fein councillors in Antrim.
