Cowen, Reid to host preparatory talks at Hillsborough

Foreign Minister Brian Cowen and Northern Secretary Dr John Reid are due to host preparatory talks later today as efforts intensify to save the peace process.

The meeting with the pro-Agreement parties at Hillsborough Castle in Co Down is a prelude to talks in Birmingham to end the deadlock over decommissioning, policing and demilitarisation.
