ISPCC says cross-border monitoring must be put in place

There are calls for an all-Ireland approach to the monitoring of people who work with children.

The Irish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children says that a cross-border approach needs to be implemented urgently in order to improve procedures for clearing people who wish to work with children.

The Chief Executive Officer of the ISPCC says that such an approach would prove hugely beneficial in the fight against child sex offenders.
