Two leading Ulster Unionist Stormont ministers are putting what the Orange Order calls 'an interesting proposal' to the Parades Commission.

Reg Empey and Michael McGimpsey hope the proposals, which have not been revealed, can convince the Commission to overturn its ban on the Drumcree march.

Both men are key allies of party leader, David Trimble, and it is believed the proposals have his blessing.
