Man to be charged with firearms offences in Newtownards

A 30-year-old man is due before Newtownards Magistrates Court today charged with possession of firearms in suspicious circumstances.

Guns and ammunition were discovered in a house in the Ballyhoran area of Ardglass last night.

Two other people who were arrested have been released without charge.
