Adams warns against suspending institutions

Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams tonight warned against suspending the institutions to prevent David Trimble’s resignation.

Emerging from discussions he said: "Suspending the institutions will not protect them. What has been changed is the fact that there is local and accountable institutions. They are flawed because of the way the First Minister has refused the minister of education and health to carry out their duties.
