McCreevy backs comments on Nice rejection

The Minister for Finance, Charlie McCreevy, has told the Dail that he stands over his comments in Gothenburg, where he said the result of the Nice referendum was remarkably healthy.

Labour has accused Minister Charlie McCreevy of personal vanity and "sending a missile" to the Taoiseach and European institutions.
