Mallon criticises Trimble over resignation
The North's Deputy First Minister, Seamus Mallon, has criticised the Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble, who is due to resign in four days as First Minister.
Speaking in Belfast at the opening of a new building society, Mr Mallon asked "what workers would think if management suddenly pulled out when everything appeared to be going fine".
Mr Trimble has insisted he will quit on Sunday unless the IRA moves substantially towards decommissioning.
