Flood threatens action against Tom Brennan

Prominent builder Tom Brennan could face High Court action later today if he fails to present certain documents to the planning and payments tribunal.

Justice Flood was told last Friday that attempts to retrieve documents from the Isle of Man and Liechtenstein were met with resistance.

Last Friday Fergus Flood put pressure on Mr Brennan after it was learned that documents sought by the tribunal had not been retrieved.

Patrick Hanratty for the Tribunal told Justice Flood that an order had been served to obtain documents in the Isle of Man and Liechtenstein.

Mr Hanratty said Tom Brennan failed to provide the said documents.

He said there was resistance in the Isle of Man relating to information about an entity known as the Silkborg Trust.

Justice Flood said he could not tolerate any longer Mr Brennan's refusal to co-operate on the matter.

Justice Flood said if these documents are not presented by the close of business today he will refer the matter to the High Court.
