Payment to Burke was through Brennan's company

Builder Tom Brennan has appeared before the Flood Tribunal today to answer allegations regarding a payment made to the former Minister, Ray Burke.

Builder Tom Brennan has appeared before the Flood Tribunal today to answer allegations regarding a payment made to the former Minister, Ray Burke.

Mr Brennan told the tribunal that he did not make the payment of £60,000 to Mr Burke but had instructed the payment to be made by his company through an off-shore bank account.

Mr Brennan has been answering questions by the tribunal counsel, Patrick Hanratty for most of the day and has been reminded on several occasions that he cannot withhold information.
