Attorney General adds to Nice Treaty controversy

The row within the cabinet over Europe has intensified following an outburst by Attorney General Michael McDowell.

The Government's chief legal advisor has added his voice to those ministers concerned about the further integration of Europe following Ireland's rejection of the Nice Treaty.
