A 32-year-old man appeared in court last night on charges of murder after

a Protestant woman was killed in a pipe bomb attack.

Mr William James Fulton faces charges in connection with the murder of 59-year-old Elizabeth O'Neill from Portadown in June 1999.

He also faces six charges of attempted murder, four of them against police officers and another two in relation to causing explosions in 1998 and 1999.
